What’s up! I’m a Brooklyn based UX Designer. I currently work as a Technology Director/Teacher and Brooklyn Excelsior Charter School, teaching grades Kindergarten - 8th.
I’ve received my bachelors in Environmental Studies at Iona University. Also obtained a masters degree from Pratt Instutite in Information Experience Design.
You’re probably saying thats a big transition. I know, it wasn’t easy but I manage to perserve and beat the odds. I found myself after undergrad not doing what I loved, which was brainstorming, designing, and solving problems through design. I took a leap of faith and now I’m here designing my porfolio.
When I take off my versatile working hats I like to indulge in great food, photography, and working out. Recently I decided to become a more confident swimmer and that I should enroll in swimming lessons. Swimming is something I love but I’m not great at it, my goal is to be able to jump into the ocean and not fear that some large organism is going to brush the side of my leg and drag me under.
